e-CF is Dominican electronic invoicing. Davinote configures how your comprobantes are issued and the certification is requested through the app, but the certification itself is a process with the DGII that the Davinote team runs for you — it is not instant, and it is not something you switch on.
Open the e-CF onboarding
From Company information, choose e-CF as your issuing mechanism and follow the certification prompt. With no previous request you see the requirements and the form.
Read the requirements
The card explains what you need. Each external guide opens in your browser rather than inside the app.
Upload your certificate
The file picker accepts only .p12 and .pfx files. Once chosen, the file name appears and the upload area turns green to show it is loaded.

Enter your credentials and send
Fill in the certificate password and your DGII credentials, then submit. Sending without a certificate or without credentials gives you a clear error, not a server failure.
Wait — the panel shows the status
The screen becomes a status panel with an icon, a chip for the current status and a description. The form is gone while the request is being processed.
This is the manual part. The Davinote team runs the certification with the DGII; there is nothing more for you to do while it says in process.
Read a rejection and resend
A rejected request shows a banner with the administrator's notes, and the form comes back so you can correct and resubmit.
Once complete, keep the certificate current
A completed panel is green and shows the certification date and the certificate's expiry. Renewing uploads a new certificate without repeating the DGII certification.
