Completing a reservation and charging

A booking goes confirmed, in progress, completed. Starting it is what uses the client's code; completing it is what creates the money record. There is one rule that surprises people: only one service can be in progress at a time.

  1. Open the booking

From the day's list in the Reservations tab. The detail window shows the client and the actions available right now.

  2. Tap Start service

This moves the booking to in progress. If the booking carries a completion code, a code screen opens first.

  3. Ask the client for their code

Six boxes and a number keypad. The client has the code in their own app, on the booking itself.

The booking does not start until the code is accepted. Cancelling the code screen leaves the state untouched.

Ask the client for their code
  4. A wrong code says so

An incorrect code gives you a clear wrong-code message and reopens the boxes to try again. Nothing is started or completed.

  5. The button becomes Complete

Once in progress, the badge changes and the main action becomes Complete. Cancel and Absent are gone — completing is the only way out of this state.

  6. Complete it

Tap Complete. No code is asked for a second time — it was already used to start. The booking is completed and the earning is recorded in your finances.

  7. Mark a no-show instead

If the client never arrived, use Absent from a confirmed booking. It closes the booking and confirms with a message.

  8. Open the receipt afterwards

A completed booking offers a view-receipt option that opens the signed PDF, from the booking itself.
