Search is for when you know the name. The map is for when you only know the neighbourhood. It is the second tab, and it works best with the location permission granted.
Open the Explore tab
Tap Explore in the bottom bar. The first time, Davinote asks for permission to use your location.
If you refused location earlier, the app cannot ask again — you have to grant it in your phone's settings for Davinote.
The map centres on you
With location granted, the map opens where you are. Without it, the map opens on a default area and tells you the permission was denied.
Move and zoom
Drag to move, pinch to zoom in and out. New pins load for whatever area you move into.
Tap a pin
A pin opens a small card with the business name, its category and a preview. Tap the card to open the full profile.
Set how far to look
Change the distance range to widen or tighten the search. A small range shows only what is very close; a large one covers a wide radius.
Recentre on yourself
After wandering the map, the my-location button brings it back to where you are.
