Signing in is the ordinary email-and-password kind. The parts worth knowing are the Keep me signed in switch, the biometric option, and what the messages mean when a sign-in is refused.
Open the sign-in screen
Tap the sign-in option from the home screen and enter the email and password you registered with.

Decide whether to stay signed in
Turn on Keep me signed in before you tap the button. With it on, closing the app completely and reopening takes you straight back in; with it off, you are asked to sign in again.
Turn on fingerprint or Face ID
If your phone supports it, Davinote offers biometric sign-in. Once it is set up you unlock the app with your finger or face instead of typing a password.
Forgot your password? Tap the link
The link is under the password field. Enter the email on your account and send — Davinote confirms the email has gone out.
Open the link in the email
The email contains a link that opens a web page where you type the new password twice. This page is on the Davinote website, not inside the app.
If the link has expired or the two passwords do not match, the page says so rather than failing silently.
Come back and sign in with the new password
Return to the app and sign in with your email and the new password. The old one will no longer work.
