Setting up your business profile

Your business profile is both what customers see and the menu everything else hangs off: employees, services, offers, portfolio, invoices. This is the screen to know your way around.

  1. Open My business

Tap your profile photo, then My business. The cover image, the business name and a status badge are at the top.

  2. Read the status badge

An active business says so. A business in vacation mode shows as inactive. That badge agrees with Settings, with Opening hours and with the action centre — if two of them disagree, that is a fault.

  3. Use the options menu

Below it is everything about the business: Employees, Portfolio, My services, My offers, My promotions, Marketing campaigns, Invoices, Company information, Withdrawal requests and more.

The bank account option only appears for businesses outside the United States.

    Use the options menu
  4. Tap edit to change the details

The edit form opens with everything filled in: name, phone, description, delivery type and address.

  5. Replace the cover image

The cover is a landscape image. Choosing a new one replaces it.

  6. Update the address — but not the country

You can change every part of the address except the country, whose selector is locked. Changing country would change your currency, your categories and your tax setup, so it is not an address edit.

If your business is in the Dominican Republic the selector may not appear at all.

  7. Change your categories

The selector shows the twelve Davinote categories in your language. Pick at most two; the badges on your profile update once you save.

  8. Save

Saving returns you to the profile with the changes applied. The back button leaves without saving.
